The main functions of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Participate in a comprehensive management training program to develop the skills and knowledge necessary for a leadership role
- Learn and understand various aspects of the business that includes operations, sales, marketing, and customer service
- Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the company under the guidance of experienced managers
- Helping with duties of other employees (e.g., cashier, server, cook, etc.) when necessary, because of an unexpected absence or extra volume
- Must be able to achieve results in key areas, such as labor, food cost, beverage cost, turnover, V for Victory, etc.
- Maintain safety and health code standards throughout entire restaurant
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner with a friendly and polite attitude
- Maintain accurate records and perform data entry tasks as needed
- Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote products or service
- Lead and motivate staff to complete their tasks in efficient manner
- Demonstrate phone etiquette when interacting with customers or clients
